Location
Staff, cheaper, door cards to work, a pool, not to have to give an extra $100.00 for security!

The public parking was outside, excellent service. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a refrigerator were available in our standard king room. The place had a chic atmosphere. Location: the hotel was just next door to a nice bar/restaurant for dinner and terrific breakfast buffet, and the event center...

The location was perfect, close to the Wells Fargo Arena and lots of popular spots downtown. The shuttle service was super convenient for hitting up nearby restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly too. I definitely recommend checking it out for a fun group trip!
One downside was the breakfast buffet. It wasn't great despite being free, so I'd suggest skipping it.

We found all the staff very friendly and helpful. Even the guy that brought extra pillows after 11pm had a great attitude! We had a king deluxe with two bathrooms. Very nice, but understand comments from others about size. Bed was comfortable and had a great view of the Capital. TV, elevators etc all worked fine
We received a wake-up call at about 6:30am. That would have been fine IF we had requested one. Little turned off that front desk staff was dressed so casual. Jeans and tee-shirt really didn't fit atmosphere. May have been an anomaly. We tried to go to breakfast about 9am, there was no host or any visible staff at the restaurant? Kind of odd. We ended up going outside the hotel. Also found it odd that a small fridge was not included and was add-on. Overall more good than bad for one night.

Nice atmosphere in the bar, paired with excellent home-baked Alentejo bread. Rooms are well-decorated but some have smaller bathrooms. The staff was friendly and responded promptly to a maintenance issue. Noise from the street was minimal.

Couples seeking an alright stay
The staff was kind, helped me out when I needed those extra pillows on a whim. Even the shuttle driver was a real gem, went out of his way to make sure I got where I needed to go. Like, who does that anymore? A fruit from his bag. That level of kindness just doesn't exist these days!
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was acceptable all things considered.

I recently stayed here for a night and really enjoyed the little things, like the handy fridge in the room and the quality toiletries in the shower. The hotel had a great lounge area to relax and even a cozy seating nook for watching TV. The only thing was that the bed felt a bit too soft for my taste, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. I’d definitely recommend checking it out! 😊
